Post Pallet

A: We manufacture and supply several different types and sizes of post pallets and stillages, ranging from our smallest at 1015mm x 1115mm, right up to the largest at 2030mm x 1060mm, including galvanised and painted finishes.

A: You should never use pallets with a MB stamp for any home project nor should they be burned. It is very unlikely that you would encounter a pallet treated with methyl bromide, but if you do see one it is best to avoid any contact.

A: Pallets are plastic or wooden platforms upon which mail (trays, sacks, bundles, or parcels) is stacked. The Postal Service supplies pallets to mailers. Dimensions (705.8) Pallets measure approximately 40" x 48".

A: Place Heaviest Boxes Down First.Having the heaviest boxes on the bottom creates the most stable base, prevents lighter packages from getting crushed, and also creates a lower center of gravity for a stronger structure.

A: Pallet stacking is strategically placing all of the boxes for a shipment on a pallet. Properly stacking pallets is crucial to maintaining the integrity of your shipped goods and, more importantly, keeping your warehouse employees safe from the hazards that a poorly stacked pallet can impose.

A: When loading a single pallet with different boxes, the general rule is to not stack above 60 inches high. While the specific materials you store on the pallet may change the maximum height, it will rarely go above 60 inches.

A: Weight limits for pallet stacking can change depending on whether the pallets are full or empty. Weight limits may also be dependent on the stacking method. Pallets alone can often be stacked 15 feet high, but the materials on them could change that number.
